Business Developer

Are you interested in bringing industry 4.0 to manufacturers globally to make them more sustainable and operationally efficient?

Deep.Meta are looking for an emotionally intelligent negotiator with a strong operations background to join us as a Business Developer. You’ll be coming into an incredible technical team of operators, engineers, and developers.

You’re an overachiever driven to develop strategic relationships and chase down leads to close sales. You are comfortable pioneering creative approaches to sales and helping establish repeatable sales practices for acquiring metals producers as well as other third-party affiliates. You will be familiar with buying processes in the manufacturing sector, which can be in metals or adjacent sectors such as automotive, construction, transport or white goods. You are flexible with the hats you wear to meet the goals of the startup and are adept dribbling multiple balls and hungry to score.

Responsibilities

  • Growing customer base and meeting key sales and revenue goals
  • Grow affiliate network metals associations, government bodies, manufacturing associations by sector
  • Work with founder to build repeatable sales process and sales materials
  • Actively communicating customer insights with wider team that can feed into
    sales, product, marketing.

Minimal Qualifications

  • 5+ years working in sales, business development or equivalent role, in a relevant sector including but not limited to metals manufacturing, automotive, construction
  • Track record of developing strategic relationships to close recurrent significant deals
  • Ability to generate leads and build pipeline and proven track record to meet or
    exceed sales goes
  • Experience negotiating sales and consultatively selling with a strong track record of successful closes.
  • Strong Operator experience, ability to get things done flexibly as the business requires

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in scaling a Seed/Series A Startup
  • Financial literacy, projections, market sizing etc.
  • Experience working in technical teams
