Machine Learning OPs Engineer

Are you passionate about taking ownership of non-trivial infrastructural development for an Industry 4.0 startup?

Deep.Meta are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic ML OPs Engineer who is confident in deploying and maintaining production grade Machine Learning models to join an amazing team of operators, engineers and developers.

You will be key in supporting the integration of these models with customers and should be interested in building a Start-up. Familiarity with manufacturing lines will be advantageous in solving these industrial challenges. You’ll work in a transparent environment where you’ll communicate frequently with team members in a collaborative manner, sharing good practice and seeking to continuously up your game!

Responsibilities

  • Be a part of the development of your team members and facilitate growth in their roles.
  • Ownership and continuous improvement to Machine Learning Pipelines.
  • Oversee the compatibility of Machine Learning Pipelines with parent infrastructure to improve in-line performance of software.
  • Provide technical oversight and leadership on product deployment
  • Developing timelines for delivering projects to customers and communicating what these are as well as any changes to the Team
  • Consult on company decisions and provide informed input

Required Skills Summary

Minimal Qualifications

  • System level thinker who is a self-starter, ready to build and collaborate to solve complex technical problems.
  • Ph.D or MSc in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Metallurgy or related field
  • Experience with Big Data (batch or streaming): SQL, Spark, Hadoop.
  • Track record of successfully developing end-to-end data science pipelines
    and deploying production-grade code and using modern software development tools (version control, CI/CD, Docker, containers, etc.) in a cloud platform (GCP, AWS)
  • Fluent with typical Machine Learning stack and tools: Python, Pandas, SciPy,
    Scikit, and one or more deep learning frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch etc
  • Experience with workflow management tools (e.g. Airflow, Metaflow, Prefect).

Desirable Skills

  • Apache Kafka for efficient real-time data ingestion.
  • Experience using complex time-series data and reinforcement learning
  • Experience with designing cloud-agnostic frameworks – using Kubernetes, kubectl.
  • Shows interest in managing and leadership
  • FExperience working in a Start-up environment
  • Experience working in heavy industry or with automated manufacturing lines

Time Series Machine Learning Engineer

Deep.Meta are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Machine Learning engineer who is comfortable with Data Science to join an amazing team of operators, engineers and developers. This is a hands-on role; you’ll be responsible for the preparation and analysis of the data you use to build machine learning algorithms.

You will be key in supporting the integration of these models into the product software and should be interested in building a Start-up. Familiarity with manufacturing lines will be advantageous in solving these industrial challenges. You’ll work in a transparent environment where you’ll communicate frequently with team members in a collaborative manner, sharing good practice and seeking to continuously up your game!
